Editing - The Edit

Short Intro to the mammoth 3 hour video!

You may have had a sneak peak at the timecode on this video folks. I know it’s a long one. 3 hours baby! Lets go ! (say at back of room)

Obviously an edit can take me a few days to do, so whilst 3 hours sounds like a lot.. It’s actually pretty condensed. I do think there’s some really good stuff in this video, so if you start getting bored, or like “yeah sam, I get what you’re doing”.. You can skip forward a bit if you wanted to. Although be careful not too miss stuff - there is value in just watching and consuming.. Even if at times it’s not the most engaging content.

You might have noticed in the videos where I was shooting the Energy video, I’ve tried to put yellow progress bars at the bottom where I’m just doing a lot of the same thing, so in theory, you could skip through that section once you already get the jist of what I’m doing.

But having said that, most of this video I’ve used the same yellow progress bar at the bottom with the progress bar titled “Block Edit”, maybe best not to skip over that one, because that is the core of the video, it’s really me just doing the block edit.

And once you’ve watched it all, it’s time for you to jump into your edit! Which is great.

Ok so, with that in mind, good luck guys, take breaks if you need em.. Take whatever you want from this video, and absorb the value !!!
